Each year, J P Chick & Partners Ltd offer a unique opportunity to an aspiring young person to join our team via our Apprenticeship Programme. Rotating between our Civil, Structural and Environmental teams, the Programme offers a unique opportunity to combine academic study with practical, on-the-job experience.

Our Apprentices gain hands-on experience in a range of disciplines, allowing them to explore different aspects of engineering in a supportive, real-world environment. Our Apprentices are mentored by and work directly alongside our skilled team on active projects, building a practical skillset and a strong foundation for their future careers.

Alongside their work with us, Apprentices study for an appropriate, nationally-recognised industry degree at Anglian Ruskin University. This approach means they earn while they learn, combining academic achievement with on-the-job training. By the end of the Programme, they’re equipped not only with a qualification, but with a solid understanding of the engineering and environmental industries, and a network of mentors and colleagues.

Over the last few years, we are proud to have welcomed Lewis Hunt into our Structural team, Toby Souter into our Civil team, and most recently Katherine Carpenter into our Environmental team.  Each of them has made meaningful contributions to our projects, while growing their expertise and preparing for a successful career.
